One for the Cheshire hipsters who have money to burn. Multi-area’d place over a couple of levels with painted brick walls and coloured lighting. Freezing cold. Three pumps with no cask so a watery gassy keg Mobberley Loco had to do. I was the only punter and it wasn't hard to see why. An extra minus point for the toilets, labelled as ‘sausage’ and ‘minge’. Awful - I'd rather have had a pint in Korea with Corporal Klinger.

A real surprise and a gem of a place.
We'd sampled a few pubs in town but have stumbled on this back alley on the way to the main street, we vowed to come back to check out the live music.
Lovely cellar bar and the music didn't disappoint. Top band on, doing the usual sort of Saturday night covers.
The real revelation was the beer quality - Marble Arch Bitter in bang on form. Best pint of the night.
Give it a try!
