E TA left this review about Cafe Bar 21

Another cafe/bar in the cluster of similar establishments whose main clientele is the Butlitz crowd and other low budget holiday makers who emerge onto The Avenue mid-morning looking for an alcoholic fix that doesn't involve party games or redcoats. There is a wide decked seating area at the front from which to observe the similar establishment on the other side of the road, and there is a paved garden at side with a pizza stand. This in turn leads to the rear garden, a very spacious area with more paved space crammed with benches and tables, and a circular gravel garden area which is a bit less crowded. The garden also has a covered area with two pool tables. Inside is a single barn-like room with the bar counter in the centre. The young female staff were pleasant and welcoming, although their male colleague was rather less so. Several gaming and vending machines are available. Food is on offer all day, low cost pub food of the sort which you might find in a low budget chain; the price reflects the quality. There is no real ale available. Cruzcampo, 5 from Thatcher's, Exmoor Cider, Guinness, Carling, Madri, Coors, John Smith's, Atlantic and Murano were all available on keg. To be fair I had a nice cup of tea but that was all I could cope with given the noise and ambience of what should be left to its target demographic.
