Strongers . left this review about Store Street @ DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel
Store Street Exchange is the hotel bar of the DoubleTree Hotel. A beer shelf with stools runs along the length of the floor to ceiling front windows and behind is a row of sofas and lounge chairs. The serving counter up the left-hand wall faces some central high tables and banquettes that run up the right. During a recent Tuesday afternoon visit there was muted Sky Sports cricket on the televisions, and some muzak was playing in the background. Standard, premium and mainstream craft keg products were available alongside some JW Lees beers. The service was very polite, and the Stella was £6.50 a pint, which I suppose is good for a hotel run by Hilton. I’ll not return now that I’ve been, but I’ve been in far worse hotel bars.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Store Street (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Manchester-Piccadilly)
Part of the DoubleTree hotel, with two separate bars: the Craft Bar at the front and in the Exchange (mostly serving the restaurant, although there is also a small outside terrace) at the back. Although very much a hotel bar, the former is nowadays much more imaginative than most, with the shiny founts on the counter including two from the local Brightside Brewery: Maverick American Style IPA and Store Street Craft Lager. However, on the bar-back, there are four additional keg taps for Smooth Bitter (£4.00), MPA, Manchester Craft Lager and Bohemia Regent - all JW Lees beers.
