This is one of a small chain operating in South London that is something of a cross between a micropub and an off licence. This one does have a table outside on the pavement, plus a garden at the back with several picnic benches. I suppose the garden is more of a courtyard as there's nothing growing in it apart from a few weeds clinging to life by the wall.
There's no real ale of course, but they did have four "craft" beers available on tap - I had the Belleville Picnic Session IPA - plus masses of cans and bottles from a bank of fridges. As you can buy a beer and sit and drink it on the premises I guess it just about qualifies as a pub, although WhatPub has it listed as an off licence. You can of course buy "growlers" of beer to take away.
I'm not sure how it will cope when the weather turns wet or cold, when the only seating is outdoors. I guess they might let you stand around in the shop, but I don't suppose that you would want to do that for long.
