E TA left this review about The Windmill
Comprising the upper floor of the administration block of a caravan and holiday home site, The Windmill consists of a single long J-shaped room with a food counter and dining area at the curved end and the bar at the other, the two around the same size. The bar also has dining tables, though less formally laid out. The two areas are partially separate by removable screens. There is a raised stage are at the end with the entrance. Access is from stairs or a lift. The atmosphere is very 1970s Scout Hut, softened only by TV screens and a couple of tall tables for drinkers. The muzak was pretty dire, and the staff were functional, not at all engaging. Two ales on draft, both from St Austell, Secret Santa and Tribute, in fair condition. Probably fine for a pit stop at lunchtime of you have children or elderly relatives in the car who need a break, but opening times are unpredictable and it's by no means a great pub.
