Wine & Wallop opened mid-January 2022 and I think the best way to describe it would be as a café bar. The serving counter is found in the right rear corner where there are 13 premium and craft keg options plus Becks. There are also three hand pumps, but two of these were unused leaving Wallop Pale Ale as the only cask ale choice. Food is available, the Wallop Burger is priced at £10.
This L-shaped venue is deceptively large with seating along the front and then up the left to the rear where stairs can be found up to the toilets. The are also stairs at the front that lead down, but not sure where they go. I didn’t spot any televisions, but there was some R&B playing in the background. Polite service, but not really my cup of tea to be honest and I was glad to knock back my Camden Hells before moving on.
