Large open plan bar area which doubles as a reception area through the week - the bar is at the rear, with a selection of tables and chairs in front of it - there's also an outside seating area if/when the weather allows. Limited opening hours, usually the first Friday and Saturday of the month, where they showcase 4 cask and 4 keg beers, often one or two of each are new brews (or re-brews of old specials). Gets pretty busy, lots of chatter. It's quite well hidden down a side road from the A49 in the village.

The Salopian Brewery Bar is a purpose built room rather than a makeshift bar squeezed into a brewery. It appears to also double as a shop from 09:00-16:00 on weekdays. The brewery is a new building set right next door to the old Hadnall Station on the line from Shrewsbury to Crewe. The old Station House would have made an ideal brewery tap but appeared to be a private residence. The bar consists of a wide modern room with the serving area on the rear left. Furnishings consist of some chunky tables and assorted seats. There is a corridor on the right that leads to the toilets and the walls of it are covered with award certificates. There is a grassy area outside with some picnic tables.
Some of the brewery's bottles are available but I didn't see anything apart from beer on sale. There were quite a few in when I arrived after 13:00 on Saturday but after 14:30 it started to get seriously busy.
There are four hand pumps and four keg taps. Cask is all £2.80 and keg £3.40. I tried all four cask Luna, Treasure Trove, Sixth Mass and Golden Thread all of which were excellent. I tried the Automaton and Kashmir on keg, both of which I had tried before on cask and being on keg didn't seem to do anything for them. The two other keg offerings were Sienna and Red Mist.
i liked this place and would happily return. It's a shame the opening times are so limited.
The infrequent 511 bus from Shrewsbury bus station to Whitchurch goes through the village.
Open 15:00-19:00 Friday and 12:00-17:00 Saturday.
