River Cottage Canteen is housed in a nice old looking building on the busy whiteladies road.
Once inside there is a single room which runs the width of the pub,the bar is on the right side and there is an open kitchen on the rear left side,the floor is bare boarded,the seating is bench seating opposite the bar on the right side and some normal tables and chairs,there is also bench seating on the left side.
There was one real ale on,which was Skinners River Cottage EPA,this was a decent drink.
The pub was fairly busy with other drinkers of a varying age group,background music was playing.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub and was made to feel welcome by the bar staff.
