Real Ale Ray left this review about The Porky Pint
Est 2016 this foodie micropub is well worth a visit especially if you're feeling hungry. You can get a decent range of hot food served from the end of the bar area. The menu consisted of Hot pork, turkey and beef sandwiches. Pigs in blankets, pots of roast potatoes and desserts such as Sticky toffee pudding, jam sponge and spotted dick.
We were feeling quite peckish after our crawl around Middlesbrough, so we went for the hot pork sandwich with gravy and apple sauce, costing
£3.50 each. Beer wise there was a choice of four ales on pump from Theakston's, so I went for the Knowle Spring.
The layout here was the bar area and hot food was all catered for in the front and there was also a snug around the back. The décor was modern in style and the front bar had two sides exposed brick walls and painted grey walls. The tables along the front windows had the Union Jack on the table top made up from different types of timber. The was also some shelving and high stools along the right hand wall as you entered the front room.
