Visited on Saturday night. This is not what I expected at all, a little table service bar offering mainly Belgian and Swedish ales on tap complemented by a selection of bottled ales. I just thought it was going to be a fairly standard craft ale bar.
I have to be honest and say this is perhaps not really my kind of place, it felt a bit formal and didn't fit in well with a pub crawl, but I'm sure would be lovely to take your time over a few drinks with your significant other.

This is indeed a 3 storey building, but the seating is on the first 2 floors with only the toilets on the top floor. It's all very nicely done with lots of dark wood and low lighting. The bar is on the ground floor, but it's actually table service throughout. I've been in a couple of times recently and the service has been good on both occasions, the second time they were very busy, but still efficient. As Peter says there's a beer menu on every table. There's a decent selection of draught ale including a couple of UK craft kegs along with loads of bottles. It's very atmospheric at nights and even Ms CAMRA liked it.

This recently opened bar on Tib Lane has replaced the old Filthy Cow Restaurant and has been opened by the owner of Ma Boyles Oyster Bar and Ma Egertons in Liverpool. This is a smart bar with seating over three stories with the toilets at the very top (39 steps.
Each table has a beer menu where I thought the 330ml bottles were a bit on the steep side with I think the cheapest was Jupiler at £4.20p. The bar seems to specialise in Belgian bottled beers but there is also a good range of taps behind the bar at more reasonable prices.
