Komakino . left this review about Sports Bar @ The Kings Hotel
In the centre of Stokenchurch opposite the old Four Horseshoes (now sadly converted to private housing) and across the green from The Fleur, this imposing building was formerly known as The George then The Kings Arms, but is now armless and once traded on the A40 being one of the main arteries into London. This functions as much as a bar / restaurant as a hotel, and there is no truck with people just after a drink, with choices of Rebellion IPA and W&E Windsor Knot on cask as well as Goose Island Honkers Ale as a crafty concession (Lowenbrau was also spotted, in a strange 80s twist). The bar / restaurant has been made up in a contemporary fashion, although Absolute FM and Matt Berry's interjections in the background made for a less-than-relaxing ambiance combined with a noisy coffee machine situated right on the bar counter. There is decking out front which juts onto the car park, which presumably makes a pleasant escape when the weather's clement.
