Now open for just under a year and still going strong. This was my first visit to the Tap and it won't be my last. 4 Draycott ales and 2 guests on offer on a Thursday night, between the three of us we tried all of them and there wasn't a bad pint amongst them. From dark to light, they were Severn Brewery Ruby Porter, Butchers Bitter, Tap House Tipple, Burgo, Minnesota North Star and Coastal Brewery PAPA. Also available several ciders and a great selection of gin or wine. Our host was Greg, who was very happy to chat about all things beer and the state of America (his home land). Nice clean unisex toilets and a good selection of nibbles rounded off the experience. I would have given it 10 if my feet had warmed up, the place could do with some better heating. Well worth checking out, an easy bus ride on the Indigo from either Derby or Nottingham, our driver actually made an un-scheduled stop right outside the door.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Draycott Tap House
Only opened a couple of weeks ago and was previously a picture framing shop, prior to that it was a tea rooms for many years and you can still see the name Websters on the windows slighty, if they get some condensation. This Micropub consists of a corner entrance, a large beer board and small bar along the back wall. Eight ales, four of which are regulars from their Daycott Bewery and four guest. The decor is grey walls, sage green woodwork and blue carpet tiles. We went for the Ilkeston Aurora, Tollgate Brewery Ashby Pale and Draycott California Steam. All the beers were served from stillage in the cold room behind the bar. The owners were friendly and welcoming and had a relaxed manner.
