Strongers . left this review about Jackson's

Jacksons has a J-shaped serving counter that faces booths up the left and a mix of seating and shelving across the front windows. Banquettes run up the right and a curtain hangs between here and the bar area to allow for functions. Cask ceased to be served in 2018, but there is a large fish tank to gaze at while enjoying a pint of Tennents.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Jackson's

Two-bar pub, perhaps converted from a pair of adjoining shops, with something of an alehouse look. Apart from a bit of feature lighting, the decor is limited and the mixed furniture functional. Several sports TVs on silent, but a calm atmosphere and some notably good music mid-evening on a Saturday so stopped for something to eat too. Two handpumps on one of the counters, offering Fyne Ales Jarl and Kelburn Goldihops (£3.80).
