This was the only branch of The Stable chain remaining in London. With Fuller's having sold the chain, it is no longer open.

A keg-only bar in the the modern square which juts off the Kew Bridge-Brentford High Street confluence. Accessed up a few steps, this appears to offer the three things everyone wants in life - pizza, pies and cider. There's an arc-shaped room out front with a few tables and chairs and a bar facing the entrance. Lots of tables dotted around the outside perimeter, but presumably only in play during the decent months. Eschewing the ciders, to no surprise, this is bereft of real ale and a pint of keg Five Points Pale set me back £5.50. No indication as to whether the cider is fizzy stuff or proper stuff. With the excellent Express Tavern over the way, and the Fuller's-friendly One Over The Ait in spitting distance, this is potentially an unecessary visit really unless craft keg and cider is your thang.
