Visited this place as I stopped right by it and I was intrigued about ROB's review - which I found to be a little over generous. Predominantly a Thai restaurant it is dominated by a patio area, as there is little seating inside, where the copious cushions try to protect the posterior from the harsher wood. The glass frontage gives a comforting, homely feel if you are a goldfish. Two lagers on draught and a bottle selection. Not aimed at me, so I left.

It's not vivid it's dull and it's not a lounge it's a cafe bar, so a bit of a misnomer there. This is more or less a cafe with 3 lager taps. There are only 2 chairs that could possibly be described as lounge chairs the rest are all uncomfortable wooden cafe chairs. They do have an outside area facing on to a lock on the canal, so great for the gongoozlers in the Summer. A half of Cobra was £2.10. I'll never visit here again.

Basically a cafe bar with a few lagers on tap. No real ale - no surprise.
