Formerly an electrical shop selling appliances. Quite busy on our Friday afternoon visit and after getting served at the bar, our only option was to stand at a shelf, until a group of four fellas made some space and beckoned us over to share their table, which was very welcoming and we had a good chat with them.
This pub consisted of a small entrance area with seating and the main lounge and bar with the bar area along the back wall. There was also a decent size covered area out the back right next to the River Calder. The service was good with three staff on and the beer choice across four pumps was Marble Bitter, Kirkstall Pale Ale & Bitter and Brew York Fairytale of Brew York.
