Oddity – a third continental bar, third micropub and third oriental hippy hangout. It’s a small oblong room with a mix of bare board and attractive tiled flooring. The three giant wood medusaesque carvings on the left hand wall are the obvious highlight. Three cask with two on, TTL and Titanic Plum Porter alongside seven keg with a fairly eclectic set of picks - I've not seen Benedikner before. Too late to see the casks meant I went keg to start with, I did then get a PP which was on the cusp of starting to turn (NBSS…1.75??). Not a bad venue but stick to the keg. 5.5

Wine bar/pub on the lively Queens Road in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester. Opening hours are limited here. In fact, on our Sunday visit to Leicester, they were only open 4-7.

Face masks are still requested whilst moving around the small single room. There are a number of tables and chairs, some in the window allowing people watching. The bar is at the rear and was serving Timothy Taylor Landlord & Oakham Citra. But wines appear to the bar's mainstay.

Only a few other customers were in. This included a couple of women who were trying to avoid having to watch the football on the TV, as all other local places were apparently showing it.
