Strongers . left this review about Moorhen

The Moorhen is an L-shaped Marstons pub with a central L-shaped serving counter that faces a tile floored bar area to the front and the entrance and some adjacent high tables beyond. Up the left is a thin carpeted seating area and there’s more seating in the left rear corner that looks like a dining area. Televisions throughout were airing muted Sky Sports News, including is a laminate floored games area to the right of the bar where two pool tables, two dartboards and, oddly, a couple of exercise bikes are found in amongst some high and standard tables. My visit was at the beginning of December, so the Christmas decorations were up, and some festive songs were playing in the background. On the bar were a selection of premium and standard keg options alongside Neck Oil and three hand pumps, two of which were unbadged which left Wainwright as the lone cask. The service was polite and this was the most pub-like pub in the Hampton area of Peterborough, which is hardly a badge of honour.
