Old Boots left this review about Quirky Ales Tap Room
Located in a low slung industrial unit, part brewery part basic taproom. The taproom is a small square room with a rear counter, unisex bog to one side, some scaffolding based shelves take up a bit of one wall by the door into the brewery, a wood burner is on the opposite wall. The furnishings are a mix of stools at high tables, with a cask in the middle and a low table with suitable chairs. The beers were four brewed on the premises plus one from Bosuns. Quality? Well it’s a brewery tap so it’s meant to taste like that for better or worse, depending on your preference you’ll love or perhaps hate the beer, for me one didn’t crack it (too weak) but the next one really hit the spot. An odd aspect for a brewery tap was the classic sample chaser checking across the pumps and being a small place blocking the bar very effectively.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Quirky Ales Tap Room
Micro-brewery tap hidden away in a small industrial estate, but well worth seeking out. Just five basic tables, little in the way of decor and a compact counter, but the customers are here for the beer and a chat so all is in order. Offering four of its real ales in a range of styles, and the Coffee Winter Infusion porter (£3.40) proved to be the perfect pint for a blustery winter evening.

Graham Coombs left this review about Quirky Ales Tap Room
Apart from wondering where on earth you are going, this small tap room next to the tiny brewing room in an industrial unit is well worth a visit to sample the beers, which are unsurprisingly in excellent condition, and to chat to the brewers. An interesting guest ale is often available alongside their own brews, and cider from a polypin. Food not served, although there are regular special events with visiting food vans (and sometimes entertainment) or a telephone number for ordering your own pizza!
