Visited 02/06/26. Visited previously for ticking on 03/10/23 and a few times over the years.
No cask. Keg offering of Goose Island Midway Session IPA, Guinness, Camden Hells and Stella.
Bare boarded restaurant and bar attached to the Claremont Hotel. The bar counter is along the rear wall mid venue and there is some tall stool seating both ends of the bar counter. A few tables in the floor space in front of the bar counter were not laid for diners, but most of the tables were so laid. The space is light benefiting from its location on the promenade and its mirror ceiling panels. Walls are wood panelled and painted in pale green with some floral paper in the upper parts of the walls. Whilst it is a nice space it lacks the atmosphere of some of the other smaller and more intimate hotel bars along the promenade.
