There are only two hand pumps one on each of the two bar counters but only Okells Best available on my visit. Keg beer options were Strongbow, Fosters, Heineken, Carling and Guinness.
Traditional pub a bit of a trek out of the centre. Pub is set over three rooms. The left-hand side has a pool table in the centre of the room on a wooden tiled floor with a plain carpet bordering to the room. There is a TV high in one of the corners and small round tables with low stools around the periphery. There is a bar counter in the corner which is a continuation of the room long bar counter in the central room. The main bar room is nicely carpeted and there is a large screen on the left-hand wall showing a game show on my visit. There are a few tables in the middle in front of the bar and tables on the right-hand side and at the back with seating provided by a continuous fabric banquette. The right-hand room has a small bar counter its left-hand side but generally this room is used as an entertainment space with a raised stage in the far-right corner. Plenty of tables and chairs dotted around and the same carpet is continued in here. Was the only punter in on my late afternoon visit. Despite the limited beer options, I thought this was a decent pub that would be more interesting to experience when it was busier and had more atmosphere.
