Komakino . left this review about The Keep
A micropub in the Thames-side market town of Wallingford and a going concern for around six months at time of writing, housed in a small listed building just off a crossroads in the centre of town. Formerly an arts shop, a chippie and a pop-up record store, this offered three Loose Cannon ales on stillage (Abingdon Bridge, Gunners Gold and Scottish Smokehouse Ale) as well a variety of odds and sods in bottles. A scout hut style interior requires a couple of steps to negotiate on entry and you are faced by a small brick and wood-countered bar faces with a number of tables and chairs as well as stools against the bar. The young owner had the requisite beard and glasses and served a decent pint of the Abingdon Bridge at £3.50 and I left feeling this is a welcome addition to some of the chain pubs in this Oxfordshire market town.
