E TA left this review about The Beach Bar

Definitely beached since its days as 4Degrees, this amorphous collection of plastic chairs obstructing the walkway of the Royal Star Arcade shopping centre still has a single keg offering, Singha, plus a selection of dodgy cocktails. It feels completely pointless, definitely not worth a revisit in its current guise, and it would probably only be worse if its advertised karaoke were in session.

Steve Stone left this review about The Beach Bar

This unit has had several previous bars over the years. Beach Bar has internal doors to the existing Thai restaurant next door, whose customers previously had to eat in the mall tables outside. Singha is the only beer apart from a few bottles of well known lager brands. Bubble tea and cocktails also available. This place will absolutely not appeal to pub and real ale traditionalists, but with their existing customer base could finally make this bar work. Not my thing, but best of luck to them.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about 4degrees

Craft beer bar in the Royal Star Shopping Arcade, housed in a corner unit with two angled open sides. Dark modern furniture and minimalist decor, but extra seating is available 'outside' in the main atrium. 12 keg taps on a hooped fount behind the counter with mostly Kentish ales, lagers and ciders in a wide range of styles, but on this visit I selected the 'visiting' Titanic Stout (£4.30). Overall, not a bad spot if not specifically looking for real ale.
