With the feel of a social club, the large open plan Burnley Miners was very busy with the older inhabitants of Burnley during a recent midweek evening visit. Banquettes run around the exterior walls and some tables are found in the centre where there’s also a pool table. Televisions are found throughout, muted darts via Sky Sports was being aired. The U-shaped serving counter supports standard keg alongside San Miguel and Cruzcampo, however the Reedley Hallows Brewery’s Pendleside was off. I wasn’t made to feel unwelcome and the barman was polite, but I think I’ll leave this place to the locals in future.
