Alan Winfield left this review about Cosy Club
Cosy Club is situated in the middle of Derby's shopping area.
Once inside there are two flights of stairs to go up or you can use the lift.
There is a very large l shaped room upstairs with the bar on the right side as you enter the room, the room is bare boarded and the seating a mix of settees and chairs and normal tables and chairs, the left side extends a long way to the rear and looks quite posh with lots of pictures and photos on the walls.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Littleover Dazzler IPA which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Salopian Oracal.
Quiet background music was playing and food was being served.
This is a very posh place to have a drink in.

One of an expanding chain, this one is very similar to the one in Manchester. Lots of random portraits and stuffed animal heads on the walls. It's a first floor bar, but there is a lift. This used to be the Royal Hotel, but has remained derelict for some time, so plus points for getting it back into use. There's a very large restaurant area to the rear. Two handpumps on the bar both serving Dancing Duck beers although one was turned round. My pint was in good condition though and the other half liked her wine. It was doing very well with the shoppers on our Saturday afternoon visit. I suspect we'll be back.
