Visited yesterday and the Real Ale Shack is now located in what I believe is the Temporary Warrington Market building while the new location is being worked on. There used to be some picnic benches in front at the "old" market but these are now gone - presumably there just isn't the space for them. There are a few tables and stool/shelf type seating and I had no issue grabbing a spot at lunch time.
At the bar there are four hand pumps, at the time of my visit all were available and offering Thirst Aid (Exit 33), Pirates Porter (Buccaneer), Angel's Gold (Tipsy Angel) and English Bitter (4T's). There were a few keg options too and a range of bottles and cans. Good to see the local breweries being showcased here and I sampled both the Pirates Porter and Angel's Gold. Prices seem to be around £3 to £3.20 a pint for the cask beers. Definitely worth a look.

A bit of a pain in the arse to find first time but probably worth seeking out. It is what it is, a stall in an indoor market, so you're obviously not gonna get vistas of rolling hills and fields, I've been in much worse beer yards. 4 handpumps on the bar with beers from Crwr Iâl, Cross Bay, Wishbone and Borough today.

A retail unit located in Warrington's dated Indoor Market, this small bar offers a mix of cask and craft, with Hophurst Evolve and Campfire Mild, Tatton Best, Molton Gold Wily Fix flying the flag for the hand-drawn camp, and Titanic M.A.P., Freedom lager and Hop House 13 lager in the craft corner during my sojourn. There's various bottled beer in both a fridge and on shelves available to takeaway and the owner was on good form chatting away to a small ensemble in and around the bar. The only bugbear is the vista of the tired old stall units the bar faces out onto, so best to sit (or stand) with your back to them facing the bar.
