The Victoria Hotel is a proper hotel with a small bar area to the left of the entrance where a short serving counter across the rear supports a very limited keg selection. There is some standing room around the counter and towards the front windows is some banquette seating and a fireplace. A lone television was airing Emmerdale with the sound on, which I found a bit odd considering how snooty the service was. To the left of the counter is access to a rear lounge, but I’d seen enough in the bar to not be bothered with investigating. The other customers were obviously hotel guests, which wasn’t surprising because I wouldn’t drink here if I lived locally.

The Victoria Hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the Kirkcaldy's main train and bus station. It sports a well stocked bar but no real ale. Still its nice hotel for the hotel patrons.
