Functional might describe it best, a no frills filled in railway arch with the brickwork and years of weathering left exposed. Both filled in sides are fully glazed so plenty of light, tiled floor and exclusively high tables, the ones at the rear have tall benches if stools are not your thing. It is very new, it feels a bit unfinished, there are pots of paint around, some exposed insulation and some Engineer was twiddling with something. The copper bar back has the pumps, in three banks. 22 keg pumps and 6 cask, not all kegs are up and running yet. Beers listed on a screen by the side of the bar, the cask choices were Kirkstall Dissolution IPA...very nice and hoppy but a bit cold, Kirkstall Black Band Porter, Gipsy Hill Southpaw, Redemption Trinity, Five Points Pale and Burning Sky Plateau. There were seven kegs on including stuff from Siren and Kernal. It's a decent enough range. Cask options around the £3.50-£3.70 mark ,a bit more for the kegs. Entrance is from Sutton Walk although the rear enclosed section also has a door which currently leads to a very narrow walled off area. I presumed that the white painted walled off corner is a unisex toilet, not fully sure.
The beer range is certainly good, as a pub I'm unsure, a little rather too sterile for me.
