Aqualung . left this review about Cask 'n' Keg
Colne is a fairly typical Pennine Town but does have one unusual feature, three micropubs next to each other at numbers 5,7 and 9 New Market Street. They are all independent of each other and are all a bit different.
This one hosts live music and has a range of Scotch Whiskies.
There are three hand pumps which had a disappointing choice as they were all similar ABV under 4.0%. They were Cumberland Great Corby Ale, Reedley Hallows Filly Close Blonde and a golden ale by Roosters that I couldn't identify. I went for the Cumberland beer (£2.80) which was not clear and on the warm side. There were some keg options but two of them were from Theakstons.
I was fairly unimpressed with this one especially compared to the other two.

One room micro pub but not a great selection of real ales on my visit - nothing above 4.5% ABV. Fine maps of the world and the UK on the walls. Shut Monday & Tuesday, 3pm to 9pm Wednesdays & Thursdays and 1pm to 12pm Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
