Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Highwayman
Upmarket Heartwood Inns pub and brasserie, once a coaching inn but now completely modernised in the front bar and the dining room down a short flight of steps at the back. A pillar temporarily obscures the bank of four handpumps in the centre of the counter, but clips for London Pride and Landlord (£5.70) were quickly spotted.

This old building splits neatly into a brasserie to the left of the entrance with all tables set for diners with a large bar to the right where drinkers can gather.The interior has several interesting features,a decent fireplace and the whole atmosphere is distinctly upmarket.Four handpumps offering nationally available real ale brands wont set the pulse racing but at least drinkers are welcome inside.
