Terrible place. Soulless and very depressing. One real ale on but nothing would inspire you to try it.

Brand new and rather uninspiring instantiation of this chain, a modern building with a shabby timber-clad exterior tucked away at the end of the industrial complex. It sits with its fellow chains – MacDonalds, Holiday Inn and so on. The designated car park is large and gloomy, there is a rather sad seating terrace by the front door and the décor is cheap and cheerless. There is no atmosphere, no charm, and no real ale. The staff were functional at best and certainly not aware of what they sell (no, fizzy lager and real ale are not the same thing), the other clientele would have been more at home at a funeral and the food was awful. I am unlikely to return.
