No cask. Keg offering of Coors, Madri, Staro, Alpacalypse, Aspall, Rekorderlig strawberry & lime cider, Blue Moon, Guinness, Madri and Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale.
This is a pretty glitzy venue that was very quiet on my early evening visit that will surely make its money at weekends and for events. There is ample parking around the venue and regular patio furniture to sit around the outside perimeter. Inside it is bare boarded with the area to the left of the entrance set out for diners. Marginally right but essentially straight on from the entrance is the bar area with a black stone skirt. Tall tables with comfy leather tall stools to sit there at and behind these some black fabric banquettes and wingback armchairs serving height appropriate tables. The building itself is impressive, and they have created a nice ambiance in the venue, a bit clubby but nice lighting and pleasantly upbeat music. Original windows retained and there is a mezzanine area to sit and drink. Won't appeal to cask fans but a classy venue with a good enough keg offering to make this a worthwhile stop off between Penarth and back into the centre of Cardiff.
