The entrance of the Cosy Club opens into an L-shaped bar and restaurant on the first floor of Cathedral Lanes. The serving counter to the right faces sofa seating along the front windows that overlook the square below. In the left is a large open plan dining areas with three rows of set tables along its length, the prime seating being along the windows looking out, not in! Expensive premium and craft keg was available, much the same as all the chain bars in this main shopping area. This isn’t somewhere I’d come just for a drink again.

Well presented bar more aimed at the food end but no problem popping in for a drink. Sadly no ale on when I called so I made do with a Brewdog Punk IPA. Very friendly service.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cosy Club
Large 'L'-shaped bar / restaurant at first-floor level benefitting from large windows and thus offering good views of the city centre. Mix of modern and retro furniture and decor, with about 50% of tables laid out for dining. Also has some outdoor terrace seating for the better weather. Old-school crooners as background music. Two real ales on handpump: Warwickshire Lady Godiva and Byatt's XK Dark (£3.60).
