Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about True Loves

One of the pair of adjoining café bars under the arches facing the canal basin. Quite dark inside, even when sat at a little table beside the curving front window, and even more so in the bar area set below ground level down a short flight of steps. However, there are plenty of benches outside near the narrow boats. Limited and dull keg beer selection, so had a quick BrewDog Punk IPA (£3.20, half) before trying next door.

Bucking Fastard left this review about True Loves

It's easy to get this bar confused with Dorothy Pax which is in a different arch but has the same garish neon lighting around the entrance. True Loves is the larger premises with a small keg only bar and bench seating then a lower level dining area in the next arch before finishing with an external oyster bar in a wooden shack. The vast number of exterior bench would make this a decent choice in good weather with views over the large canal terminus basin but the lack of real ale and a very limited keg offering would quickly take the gloss off the location. Some cans of Abbeydale Moonshine were the best option whereas the best keg option looked to be Meantime Anytime IPA.
No need for a revisit despite the friendly welcome and heritage location.
