Strongers . left this review about The Sky Bar
Unsurprisingly, the Sky Bar is on the top floor of the Resorts World complex and there are great views from the windows at the rear and balcony that runs up the right-hand side with the lake below. The herringbone floored interior is L-shaped with a central serving counter that supports Leffe Blond, Mahou, Stella Unfiltered Guinness and Modelo on draught. The service was polite and it was very busy for a midweek evening, I suppose there’s little else around here to entertain the sales staff who are staying at the local NEC hotels, me included on this occasion. This would be my venue of choice from a bad bunch in this huge venue.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sky Bar
The only reason to go up to the 5th floor of the Resorts World building is the great view from the balcony on a fine evening (which fortunately has glazed screens around the balcony if a cold wind is blowing). That aside, it is a formulaic hotel-type bar / restaurant, offering the likes of Camden Pale (£5.40, which was actually slightly less than I was expecting in the circumstances).

Large open plan bar, part of purpose new built Resorts World standalone complex within the NEC grounds. Its a 15 minute stroll from the railway station and 20 minutes from the airport via the sky-link to the station. Resorts Worls contains bars/restaurants/shopping/hotel/spa/casino all under one roof.
The sky bar is on the top level of the complex and has views across the lake & to three sides, across to Birmingham & out to Warwickshire. Its a cocktail bar thats fitted out comfortably. Accessed via the hotel lifts/staicase rather than the main complex.
