Seafront micro. Fairly basic inside though there's a decent amount of framed prints (which apparently can be purchased) to add a bit of interest. Four very samey cask, my Parkway Rat Catcher was very green and didn't fully clear (NBSS 2) served-up by a mute barman. Cider is a better bet with 12 on. The local CAMRAs like this one and it’s GBG listed but I wasn't sold to be honest. I’d probably skip it next time. 5.5

The 2nd Good Beer Guide 2022 pub in town.
Enviable position on the seafront. Opens out at the front with huge sliding door/windows. A couple of pavement tables.
Good beer. Good place to sit and relax, taking in the views.

Thanet Pub of the Year 2018 and rightly so. I found this micropub to be comfortable, with a good choice of seating, especially near the front windows, which were opened on such a good day. The owner was friendly and chatty and liked a bit of a laugh and joke. Five ales, Pig and Porter All the Small Things, Humpty Dumpty Broadland Sunrise, Woodforde's Wherry, Mighty Oak Oscar Wilde Mild and Dark Star APA. I went for the Humpty Dumpty Sunrise from Norfolk, which was superb.

The Two Halves has a much more minimalistic and brighter look to it than the two nearest micropub rivals with a laminate floor a tall table and a couple of lower tables. The walls are adorned with fairly low key pictures and it has the advantage of overlooking the seafront. It does beers and ciders from a cold room plus a few wines and soft drinks.
There were three beers Black Paw Santa Paws, Loddon Hoppit and Rooster's Three French Horns. I went for the Santa Paws which was in very good nick.
Although not as extrovert as the other two nearby micropubs the owners were friendly and I liked it. It opens at 15:00 or 12:00 Fri-Sun and on days when it is expected to be busier.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Two Halves
Another new micro-pub, with this small shop-conversion in Marine Terrace looking out directly over the harbour. Limited amount of seating inside, but a couple of school-type benches out on the pavement. Light decor, with some modern artwork on the walls. Four real ales on offer, including the unfined Andwell Mosaic (£1.50, half)
