What a fantastic interior.Stunning and original old bank.Overpowering at night but would love to see this in daylight. There was a band also on my early evening visit so it was a bit noisy.Failed to notice any cask beers on as its a bit gloomy.Never mind as they had cans of Schefferhofer-graefruit beer.Sorted.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Trading House
Newly-opened by an outfit called New World Trading, this former banking hall has been converted to create a variety of rather cramped spaces around a dominant island bar. Ornate, full-height wood panelling with eclectic decor. Mostly standing around the central counter, with just a few tall tables. Dining area and mezzanine towards the back. Guitar / keyboard duo playing early on a Thursday evening. Very mixed service - one barman annoying poor, but another prompt and attentive. Initially looks to be keg only, but there are four cask taps on fake barrels in the double-sided bar back, offering the 'house' Passionate Blonde, Windsor Knot, Dark Star American Pale (£4.20) and Siren Soundwave.
