Large, comfortable upmarket bar/restaurant converted from an old mill with some of the original layout still evident. Rambling multi-roomed interior, look out for the original metal mill doors in the right hand room. Burnt red shades, hessian-style carpet etc - it rather felt like the man from John Lewis had a blank cheque and a brief to make a comfortable faux farmer's dining room. Three ales; Doom Bar, St Austell Tribute and a so-so Hooky. Whopping grassed garden and courtyard seating made for a pleasant 15 minute stop.
