I have lived here for thirty years and with a plethora of others to go to I have only recently returned here after hearing about a new landlord Tony who saved this closed pub. He has run pubs in Bristol and been in the antique trade. He has brought real soul into this plain old building. You are now surrounded by old antiques, paintings and old furniture ..... the pub may not appeal to everyone but with good food Thursday to Sunday , great craic in the bar ... its well worth a visit. the door often looks closed so dont hesitate to barge right in !For me saving a pub and really turning it round is a great achievement
