A sedate modern hotel bar overlooking the river. Fairly bland inside though there are some nice cornices and mouldings if you look upwards. Pride on cask, pump tired but drinkable - hotel prices at £2 a half. Surprisingly busy with punters who were propping up the bar, seems to be a proper local for some .TV with 24 hour news on being roundly ignored. If you want a river view, Boulters is the much better bet.
