Having been to Camborne twice in past year to stay at the Timbo Tavern means I’ve walked past this one numerous times on the way back from the station and even in my advanced stage of merriment I’ve not been able to summon the enthusiasm to go in. It’s dark inside with flashing lights, thudding music and fairly well-refreshed youngsters - it's basically a nightclub. Always seems busy though.

A less-than-exciting modern bar in a newish building with some pretty ghastly plastic furniture. The only (keg) offerings were Carlsberg and Tetley's Smooth, and the latter was undrinkable, which is quite an achievement. Poor.

This looks like a shop conversion and is a modern open plan room inside with a wooden floor, TVs and a Jukebox.
There's no real ale just mainstream rubbish but they did have a bottle of Brain's Rev James (£3.00) that would have been better if kept in a fridge.

Camborne eventually embraces the modern bar scene this intimate haunt. Friendly, small, comfy. No ales on tap.
