Standard Lounges Group outlet aimed at the mummy brigade, although this one does have an upstairs. Like a Spoons, you know what you are getting - lots of framed prints and silly lampshades. Their standard drink range too, with overpriced Brixton Reliance the only bitter on the taps. In fairness, it's warm, bright and clean but only go if you are being dragged by the other half.

This is a shop conversion comprising of two levels plus an upper rear outdoor terrace. Downstairs is obviously the main area with the bar to one side towards the rear where there is also a food servery with colourful patterns above. A boarded room with all sorts of seating, the walls are literally covered in framed artwork, many being portraits, candles on tables, huge metal lampshades dangle from the exposed concrete ceiling soffit. There is a book swap arrangement and board games sit on a shelf near the bar.
No real ale here but the keg options included Bath Ales Dark Side and Cruiser Atlantic Pale Ale. Stowford Press cider plus a bottled one called "Haze".
A bit foody but not that fancy, burgers, tapas, paninis, all day brunches.
Not really my kind of place but it is a laid back sort of spot, a real ale or two might encourage me to visit again.
