As described below - typical foody pub. No ales on at all when I called so it was a quick bottle of Newcastle for me. A one time visit.

A Generous George, and typical of this pub group in terms of food offering and internal layout, but with only one cask beer on at the time of my Tuesday afternoon visit, and that in only just tolerable condition. A mother and baby club was meeting to one side, so I went the other way and found a quiet spot by the emergency exit. My half of Wainwright Gold looked dark enough to be Amber, and tasted not quite bad enough to complain about, especially as I had a bus to catch.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Unicorn
New, food-led Marston's pub with semi-modern furniture and decor in various seating areas (with sections at each end of an overall 'L' shape reserved for families and adults respectively). Beer garden to one side. Two banks of three handpumps, both featuring Pedigree (£3.00), Sweet Chariot and Hobgoblin.
