Sad to report The Handle Bar has ceased trading. Sad to see it shut but it was coming. If you don't use them you lose them!

This is my fourth visit to a Fixed Wheel Brewery outlet. The first one was their brewery tap at Shell Corner, then Wheelie Thirsty in Lye, which unfortunately is now closed, Wheelie Thirsty Old Hill and this latest opening, the Handle Bar.
This is a good sized bar with a front seating area and the bar positioned along the left hand side, found on a raised section towards the rear. Five Fixed Wheel beers on handpump on our visit, so I went for their Blackheath Stout, which is as outstanding as ever. Excellent service from a very welcoming and chatty barmaid.

Now up and running. I called in on opening day and again the next day. Good selection of Fixed Wheel beers to choose from with Wheelie Pale, Through And Off, No Brakes IPA, Chain Reaction Pale and Blackheath Stout. Also a guest beer from Burning Soul brewery. Great beer, great service. By far the best attempt in this pub with the previous 3 incarnations quickly forgotten! I will be back soon!

The future looks much brighter now. It has been taken over by the Fixed Wheel brewery and is to be called The Handle Bar. Should be open in a couple of weeks. At last some decent beer in Cradley Heath!

Changed hands again after a period of closure. Now called the 95 Bar & Lounge. No ale on sale when I visited a couple of weeks ago. Still got a dartboard though! One for the locals.

Now called Presley's Bar after changing hands. Real ale on sale - on my last visit it was from the very local Fixed Wheel brewery.
