This is primarily a locals pub a few streets away from the centre of Ashburton. You'll find a standard keg selection, plus 2 casks in Jail Ale and Proper Job - the latter a bargain at £4 a pint and highly drinkable.
The bar area has a large screen for sport, but an adjacent room is closed off and quiet (handy if you're here for card games).
Worth a look if you're in this small town on the edge of Dartmoor.
