Real Ale Ray left this review about Victorian Craft Beer Cafe

The full glass frontage makes it a bit stuffy in here, even on a moderately warm day. Nevertheless a good choice of six ales and two ciders, will soon cool you down. We went for Dark Star APA and the Hand Drawn Monkey IPA, both were excellent and served to us from a friendly and laidback hipster.
I liked the layout of this bar as it wasn't too cluttered and the central bar had plenty of room to manoeuvre and all their beers were nicely displayed. Some details to note, was the walnut panelled ceiling, Lincrusta wall paper. The bar area was also well finished, with a white tiled wall, teak bar counter, with a dark grey painted bar front.

A very quirky bar with several different areas on 3 levels. Very nicely decorated in a faux Victorian kind of way. A DJ rig was set up in one corner which seemed a bit out of kilter with the rest of the place. 4 handpumps on the bar and lots of craft keg taps. My pint was in good condition and I quite enjoyed it here even though it was very quiet during my Fiday afternoon visit.

Old Boots left this review about Victorian Craft Beer Cafe

A single room with 3 areas, a central counter with 4 pulls with micro breweries beers in the main bar, in addition a side wall has 12 keg taps and there are many bottles dispalyed on shelves and stored in the fridges behind the counter. To the left is a tiny sitting area and a mezzanine area with more seating above, then to the right a sitting area with photos of bearded and mushtachioed Victorian gentlemen in a homage to the hipster.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Victorian Craft Beer Cafe

Seemingly converted from several shops, it features a central bar area and further seating to each side. Compact mezzanine at one end. Dark alehouse-style furniture and decor but front picture windows help give an inviting appearance. Four handpumps, including Acorn Netherwood (£1.50, half), plus 12 craft keg taps. Overall, a useful addition to the area.
