Blue Scrumpy left this review about Nags Head
The Nag's Head was marginally the better of 2 pubs in the village of Preston. The bar is quite cosy with carpet and wallpaper. A single TV was switched off and a jukebox also appeared to be off with most people outside in the large grassy garden complete with children's play area, or in a marquee which appeared to be hosting some kind of function. There was also a small conservatory area inside and a separate outdoor patio at the front.
At the bar, Timothy Taylor Landlord is the regular cask ale. They also had Timothy Taylor Knowle Spring. The cider as Inch's. It looks like meals are normally served but menus on each table were cleared away during our mid-afternoon Saturday visit. Children and dogs are welcome.

A pleasant but fairly unremarkable village pub with an emphasis on the food trade. There are two sides of the bar inside, a conservatory and a tabled patio area outside, with a larger garden and children's play area across the car park. The TT Landlord seemed well looked after, with another ale on that I failed to note down. Cask Marque accreditation.
