Ex-Whacky Warehouse now a GK carvery. Usual get-up at the front with uninspiring decor but at least looked-after. There’s a much grander two-level baronial section to the rear which I was quite taken by. Bar sporting a pair of pumps, both GK IPA, which was surprisingly alright (NBSS 3). Tired and overworked barmaid who tried to charge me for a pint but was at least friendly in doing so. I’m hardly likely to schlep out here again under my own steam, but it was better than expected.
