Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Butterfly and the Pig
Basement bar and restaurant below the presumably fancy Tea Rooms in the same ownership. Mix of furniture and decoration in the various linked seating / dining areas. Orkney Island Life was on one of the pair of handpumps, but this was very 'end of barrel' so I had to return it unfortunately. Ended up with a Belhaven Best (£5.40) from one of the nine keg taps.

Strongers . left this review about The Butterfly and the Pig
The Butterfly & the Pig is a basement bar with high tables that run from the entrance to the serving counter that is lined with green stools across the rear. Standard and premium keg were available alongside two hand pumps, one of which was in use drawing a decent pint of Orkney Brewery’s Corncrake. To the left of the bar area is some sofa seating and a curtained (closed) area is found in the right front. I thought it was OK in here and would pop back in.
