The Village Inn has had many names in the past. The Westburn Bar, The Between Inn. The pub also had an unofficial name called by the local taxi drivers of The Palace of Varieties, due to the amount of loose women who used to frequent the place, although this no longer applies. The pub sells Tennents beers. There is parking at the pub and across the road.
